Two of Hollywood’s hunkiest gay actors have signed on to star in a new queer erotic thriller that’s set in the 1980s. Who you ask? That would be Zane Phillips and Jelani Alladin, both of whom made their nude debuts within the last few years.
The upcoming short, which will launch at New York’s Big Apple Film Festival in June, is called Strangers on a Beach. The plot description says it’s set in San Francisco in 1983, where “a mysterious killer is targeting homosexual men. But Calvin just wants to kiss that handsome stranger.”
Broadway's Jelani will play Calvin and Mr. Man fans should definitely remember him from his amazing work (and amazing ass) in the steamy gay Showtime romance series Fellow Travelers from 2023.
