Any fan of indie darling director Joe Swanberg knows that he does not shy away from including nudity in his films. A man after our own heart! Bu his 2020 shoegaze schlongfest Build the Wall includes a lot of dudity, even for Joe! This is a classic Joe Swanberg joint in that it involves a handful of people navigating the complexities of romance and friendship. Kent Osborne stars here as a man also named Kent who lives somewhat off the grid and spends his days keeping up his rural Vermont home, and lately, anticipating his upcoming fiftieth birthday. A woman who is in and out of his life has plans to stop by, and Kent thinks that this might be the visit that sheds a light on whether or not she fancies him romantically. Everything sounds pretty chill, right? WRONG! Things take one hell of a twist when Kent's friend Kev decides to surprise Kent for his birthday by not only staying with him, but also building a wall made of stone on Kent's property. What is even happening in this crazy movie! Naturally Kent appreciates the gesture, but knows that Kev's presence could get in the way of his potential to get some poon for his fiftieth. We have all the dude poon we need thanks to Kent's knack for nudes! He can't seem to keep his pants on, and gives us tons of very well lit looks at his hot juicy package and au naturel bush. In Build the Wall, build it and they will cum!
