Far from a butterface, this pretty boy was born in Maryland but raised in the NYC suburbs. After graduating from Columbia Dan turned to acting and soon found himself popping up on shows like Another World and Daughters of Privilege, while also harassing Robin Williams as a punk in The Fisher King (1991). But don't worry, Robin must not have held any hard feelings, because a few years later Dan broke out in a major way by playing Robin's straight son, Val Goldman, in the megahit The Birdcage (1996).
