Tom DiCillo is one of the most acclaimed independent filmmakers in Hollywood, and has helmed critical darlings like Box of Moonlight, Living in Oblivion, and of course Stranger Than Paradise. For the 2006 oddball comedy Delirious Tom turns the camera fittingly towards paparazzi culture in Hollywood. He subverts the industry through our protagonist Les Galantine, played by iconic character actor Steve Buscemi. He's a photographer looking for an in, so he decides to befriend an up and coming young actor named Toby Grace (played by the gorgeous Michael Pitt). Toby strikes up a romance with a pop star, and between their budding love affair and Toby's strange friendship with Les, movie magic does indeed happen. But we have to level with you. We wish Delirious was more serious when it comes to dudity! We've already seen Michael Pitt do unspeakable things in the erotic thriller The Dreamers (this is the flick in which Pitt shows off his penis in almost too many scenes to count, and even shares some homoerotic moments with Louis Garrel). So as you can imagine, Delirious could use some more cock if we're keeping it one hundy. But that doesn't mean we can't appreciate what Pitt does cook up here. He saunters around with just a towel wrapped XXXtremely low around his waist. He then saddles up to Gina Gershon and goes in for a big sloppy straight smooch. While we can see his delish happy trail, we are not privileged to the promised land. Hopefully in Delirious 2 we get something to really please the FAPparazzi!
