The appropriately named Devan Long (who sometimes inserts another name in the middle for a Devan Chandler Long credit), has no shortage of muscles, or interesting life stories. First off, he grew up in Anacortes, Washington, where he survived a near-death attack by a grizzly bear when he was seven years old. That’s when his body-toning began, with a mastering of the art of bullwhip defense (Mr. Man doesn’t know what that is either, but it sounds hot, right?). His athleticism earned him a full-ride scholarship to play football at the University of Oregon, where he set records and was known for storytelling and locker room antics. All of which led to his pursuit of the Hollywood dream. We've seen him early in his career in pop-up guest shots in TV shows like NCIS: Los Angeles, Shameless, How to Live with Your Parents, Rake, Sons of Anarchy, Scorpion, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, and even a couple of episodes of Nickelodeon’s Sam & Cat with a young Ariana Grande. He was shirtless in a memorable episode of the should-be-watched-more series The Magicians, where his low-slung pants reveal not only abs, but that delicious V that points to the promised land. He’s also sexy as hell in the 2019-2020 MAX series Doom Patrol, where he was the first actor to play DC Comics character Flex Mentallo in a live-action project (another one of those interesting life stories)—and he does it in a tiny pair of leopard-print shorts. Devan is long on torso, long on muscles, and a long pause on Mr. Man’s list of things to do.
