Scottish actor Douglas Russell (not to be confused with American swimmer Doug Russell) is known in the superhero circles as Bitter Nobody per his appearance in The Batman (2022). Of course, Doug is far from being a bitter nobody since he’s a sexy somebody! After studying Medieval History at St. Andrews University, the brainy babe performed on stage all over the UK. Following his boob tube debut on an episode of Take the High Road (1998), Doug was cast in the television movie Low Winter Sun (2006) with Mark Strong. Since then, the hardworking hottie sizzled on film (Run, Valhalla Rising) and TV (BBC’s The Red Fox, ITV’s Rebus and Taggart). In 2016, Douglas could be seen doing his thing in the miniseries Barbarians Rising and Beowulf: Return to the Shieldlands. Even though he was clothed, the small screen stud looked great while portraying Lennox on the time travel romance Outlander (2015); Wilfred the Referee on the period drama Peaky Blinders (2022); and Hugo on the fantasy series The Sandman (2022). The British-Irish horror flick stars Liam Cunningham and Pollyanna McIntosh, but the real scene stealer is Doug’s bare back!
