Fantasy Island (2021-2023)

Since its debut back in 1977, Fantasy Island has gone through a number of reboots and different reincarnations, including a reboot with Malcolm McDowell in the late 90s and a reimagining as a full-on horror movie in 2020. In the summer of 2021, the show came back on the air and for the first time, is a continuation of the original series. Roselyn Sánchez stars as Elena Roarke, the grandniece of original series star Ricardo Montalban's Mr. Roarke, who leaves behind her life in New York City to take over day to day operations on her granduncle's titular island. Gone from this iteration is the diminutive sidekick Tattoo, replaced by Kiara Barnes' Ruby, but apart from that the show is more or less exactly the same as each week, new guest stars come to island in search of their own personal fantasies, only to have them realized in ways that are wholly unexpected and different from what they had initially hoped. In other words, no one gets the fantasy they want, but rather the fantasy they deserve. The series is once again on a major network—this time around it's a Fox series—so one shouldn't go into this revival with too much hope for seeing some of the guest stars in the buff. However, the show does have the word Fantasy right there in the title—as well as Island—so there's going to be plenty of hot shirtless action from the various guest stars! On the show's second episode for example, silver fox Dave Annable dropped by to show off his fit physique in a swimsuit! That Fantasy is sure to get you fantasizing!
