Finding North (1999)

Sadness, longing, friendship and an unconventional romance become intertwined in Finding North (1998).  Rhonda loses her bank job after friends surprise her with the naked birthday surprise of a stripper at work.  Later she meets Travis (John Benjamin Hickey) a man she saw jump off a bridge who she assumed had died as a result of the leap.  They become friends and she travels with him to Texas, along the way learning of the personal pain that drove him to the bridge.

What’s a good character driven story without a bit of bits to keep things interesting?  At the beginning of the film, Travis is standing on the side of a bridge completely nude, ready to jump. You’ll hope he won’t for many reasons, not the least of which is the eye candy of his full back and sweet seat being on full display.
