First Lady of BMF: The Tonesa Welch Story (2023)

The BET+ Original Movie First Lady of BMF: The Tonesa Welch Story (2023) comes to us from director Vivica A. Fox and tells the story of Detroit native Tonesa Welch (Michelle Mitchenor) and how she rose from a nobody single teenage mother to the woman that federal prosecutors would eventually dub "First Lady of the BMF (Black Mafia Family)." Lured into the life by a charismatic drug dealer Harvey (Tobias Truvillion), Tonesa eventually hooks up with Terry Flenory, aka Southwest T (Faith Malonte), when Harvey goes to prison. Together, the two help to create an empire that would come to define eastern Michigan throughout the 80s and 90s! While both of the men in her life, played by Tobias Truvillion and Faith Malonte, go shirtless in the flick, there's sadly no nudity to speak of! How can she be the queen unless we see their king ding-a-lings?
