Moment by Moment (1978)

The legendary box-office flop Moment by Moment (1978) stars comedienne Lily Tomlin in a big-time dramatic role, as a Me Generation Californian named Trisha in the midst of a very-'70s midlife crisis. Trisha falls for a drifter named Strip—played by John Travolta, smack dab between Saturday Night Fever (1977) and Grease (1977)—after he hooks her up with some primo Quaaludes. Their May-December affair plays out in very entertainingly dated fashion, replete with Travolta strutting towards the hot tub in his tight jockey shorts, getting ready to get it on in the steamy soap with Tomlin. You’ll certainly have a moment with yourself when you see Travolta in his undies!
