Next of Kin (1989)

Eye for an eye, tooth for a tooth comes full circle in the revenge drama Next of Kin (1989). Patrick Swayze stars as Truman Gates, an Appalachian homeboy turned Chicago cop that becomes torn between following the law and mountain justice when a couple of gangsters (Ben Stiller and Adam Baldwin) kill his brother (Bill Paxton). Truman wants to let the system deal with the murdering gangster, but his older bro Briar (Liam Neeson) encourages him to practice some ol’ fashioned vigilante justice. Since it’s a Hollywood action flick, you can kind of guess which kind of justice the hillybilly police officer chooses, and the Kentucky family seeks revenge against the Windy City mobsters in a cemetery. Let the dead bury the dead. And get ready to bury your hand down your undies when you see Patrick Swayze minus a shirt in a couple of scenes. Next of Kin will make you sin!
