Party Girl (1995)

The hilarious and timeless actress Parkey Posey cemented herself as an arthouse staple with her breakout role in the indie comedy Party Girl. Here she plays a stylish, witty, and utterly out-of-control woman in her early twenties named Mary who gets bailed out of jail by her strict godmother, Judy. Mary isn't getting off the hook, and against her will is made to work at Judy's library as a way to repay Judy for the bail money. Against her best efforts, Mary ends up liking the job, but gets fired for schnucking in the stacks. Our party girl turns to selling her clothes in order to avoid getting evicted from her apartment. Party. Mary's main love interest in Party Girl is Mustafa (Omar Townsend) but he doesn't give up any skin here. Instead we have the pleasure of seeing Guillermo Díaz in the shower with Parkey, although the camera only captures him from the waist up.
