Biography

The rugged yet radiant Ray Diaz has had us hoping he'd show di-ass since he got his start modelling and doing commercials in New York City. Ray's upbringing was a bit rough, since he was a foster kid who was constantly changing schools. But once he opted to study acting and make it as an actor, things went quite well for him. Ray made his big screen debut in the horror flick Stone Markers (2012), then moved on to In Da Cut (2013). But Ray really hit it big when he played Nicolas Reyes on Hulu's all Latinx teen drama East Los High. But as great as he looked cramming for tests and testing how far the high school girls would let him go, it was on another Latinx television show that Ray would show off his perfect body. On TV Land's LopezGeorge Lopez played a fictionalized version of himself who is struggling to decide if he fits in with the rich people he now lives among or the Latinos he grew up with. Ray plays Hector, a sort of neer do well kid of one of George's old buddies, whose main character trait is being ridiculously handsome, and knowing it. The running joke is that he's never wearing a shirt, which always has us running to our TV's when he's on it! We get a great look at Ray’s amazing abs while he does some shirtless yoga, watches soccer without a shirt on, and does some yard work sans shirt, the way the good Lord intended. Ray even shows off his manly, muscular bod one more time in season two, episode five while he’s being arrested with no shirt on. We’d like to get this beefy babe in cuffs! After he went dramatic in The Sober Coach, most recently Ray joined Martin Kove, AKA Kreese from The Karate Kid (1984) in Paint it Red (2019). If you've ever been to a gay bar, Ray Diaz should be on your Ray-dar!
