Section Zero (2016)

It doesn’t take a genius to figure out that the world has an insatiable appetite for all things dystopian (The Hunger Games, The Divergent Series, Maze Runner, a thousand other projects), and the French television drama Section Zero seeks to expand on these familiar themes. In the future, European countries have gone bankrupt, and have been taken over by a handful of powerful rulers. The disparity between the rich and the poor is out of control, and everyone cowers in fear over Prometheus – a group of people looking to gain complete control over all remaining nations.
