Review

Legendary director Francis Ford Coppola teamed up with the hugely controversial auteur Vincent Gallo to craft the sibling rivalry noir flick Tetro (2009). Vincent plays the title character, Tetro, who lives in Argentina in large part to get away from his brother Bennie (Alden Ehrenreich) and the awful memories he has of childhood. Entirely uninvited, one day Bennie visits his brother in Buenos Aires to talk about how the son of a hugely successful composer ended up becoming such a burnout. Bennie, who really can't talk since he's a waiter on a cruise ship, then discovers Tetro's unfinished novel and reads it, yearning to get closer to his brother. Thinking it's a good one, Bennie sets out to help Tetro publish it entirely unprompted. Without his brother's permission, Bennie submits it to a big literary contest, which causes all sorts of chaos and has the two bros facing the past they've been doing everything they could to avoid talking about. Tetro doesn't show any skin, but his little brother sure does. At one point in the movie, Bennie takes a break from pushing his brother to become a great writer so that he can take a bath in a tub with two women. Two? Save a gal for Mr. Gallo! In some retro Tetro black and white, we get to see Alden slipping and sliding as he splashes around the tub with the two babes. We only see his lean torso, which is rather disappointing considering all the wild sexual positions they put themselves in. This was Alden's screen debut, but you might remember him as Han Solo in Solo: A Star Wars Story (2018). You'll want to watch this one solo, since it'll have your cock in your Han! Tetro will have you Francis Ford Copping a feel!
