The Happy Hooker Goes Hollywood (1980)

By the turn of the decade, where could sexy B-movie staple the Happy Hooker go? She took Manhattan in 1975, went to our nation's capital in 1977, so where else is there to go when you're a Happy Hooker than the land where dreams come true, and that's what our titular lady—emphasis on the titulars—did with The Happy Hooker Goes Hollywood (1980). The franchise began five years earlier with Lynn Redgrave in the lead role of Xaviera Hollander, the Dutch woman who dreams of leaving behind the life of a sex worker and becoming a regular housewife for some rich dude who wants to basically just keep her around the house. Of course, none of that turned out as planned and the whole franchise just sort of moved in this Death Wish-esque direction where, by the third movie here, Bond girl Martine Beswick is literally bankrupting sleazy Hollywood producers by bilking them for money in exchange for a stake in a movie—not to mention plenty of sexual favors—that they then make secretly without the moneyed investors. In a real, when are they gonna get to the fireworks factory kind of way, you're likely wondering when someone is going to mention the fact that former Batman and all around geek icon Adam West shows his dick in this flick? We were getting there, but yes, the legends are true and Mr. West shows us the way south when he and Ms. Beswick frolic naked by the pool before taking Adam's king sized Hollywood producer bed to pound town! You should hop on, there's plenty of room, it's like one of those California King sized beds!
