Review

The Nest (2020) is a drama from writer and director Sean Durkin about an English businessman played by Jude Law who urges his American family to move to an English manor in the countryside. He moves his wife Allison, played by the always fantastic Carrie Coon, and their kids over to England from America to live in this lovely manor in rural England that sits happily outside of London. When they get there, however, the wife is concerned. Her husband is acting differently. Everyone is acting differently. There are weird people coming in and out of their life and even weirder things her hubby is doing. She suspects they are in financial trouble and starts doing some digging. Ding ding ding! She was correct. She finds mysterious deposits and a depleting bank account that make her really worry. When she confronts her husband, he gets defensive and does not tell her anything that she needs to know. So then what is actually happening?! You will have to watch this drama to find out. That being said, we do get a little bit of skin from our leading man. Jude Law plays Rory, our leading man, who gives us only one shirtless scene. He takes off his shirt and his pants to get down to his tight black underwear. He kneels down at the foot of his bed while his wife lays back. He starts kissing her stomach and underwear. We wish we could strike a business deal with Jude to take his undies off.
