The Spanish Princess (2019-2020)

After The White Queen and The White Princess, Starz decided to get a little less white with the period piece The Spanish Princess. Debuting in 2019 and lasting two seasons, the show follows Princess Catherine of Aragon (Charlotte Hope), the Spanish daughter of Queen Isabella (Alicia Borrachero) and King Ferdinand (Antonio de la Torre) as she marries Arthur, Prince of Wales (Angus Imrie). At least, that's the plan. But Catherine pisses everyone off, royally, right off the bat when she brings in a black lady-in-waiting (Stephanie Levi-John). Things really go bad when she realizes that all the beautiful love letters, she thought Arthur was writing to her were actually penned by his bad boy brother Henry VIII (Ruairi O'Connor). When Arthur dies and it looks like Catherine has no shot at the throne, she takes a look at Henry and his not yet stuffed with turkey legs body, and decides she'll just make the switch. Obviously, things aren't going to end well for her, although rumors of her being poisoned are considered poppycock these days. Speaking of cock, Angus Imrie plays Prince Arthur and makes us want to royally screw him when we see the young dude shirtless in bed as he reads to the princess. He could read us anything he wants if he promises to undress a little mas. Andrew Rothney does in fact do mas, since he shows ass, when he's getting into a bathtub. That'll have you giving yourself a rub! Olly Rix and Ruairi O'Connor play some shirtless lawn games, but the game we're more interested in playing is the dirty one Aaron Cobham plays in bed with Stephanie Levi-John. Whether you're into history or just handsome dudes, you'll obsess over The Spanish Princess!
