One of John Huston's last 5 pictures, Victory puts none other than several sex symbols like Sylvester Stallone, Michael Caine, and THE Pelé on the pitch as POWs during World War 2, playing a high stakes soccer game against the worst of the worst... the Nazi Germany national soccer team.  In true John Huston fashion, the stakes couldn't be higher and the storyline is almost an epic, pitting the Americans, English, and Brazilian POWs against the evil Nazis who will either beat them or gun them down.  Meanwhile the French resistance and the British officers are trying to figure out a way for all the players to escape during the big match, alá The Great Escape.  You better believe this is an early 80s Sylvester Stallone movie too when he pops that shirt off in the showers while trying to escape.  He's in peak Rocky form and Michael Caine is still only about a decade out from being the British "Alfie" sex icon he became famous for, so it's wall to wall hunks, sprinkled with some real soccer stars like Pelé to boot.
