Viva Erotica (1996)

A sex-comedy with a serious premise, this 1996 film from Hong Kong follows an unsuccessful movie director (Leslie Cheung) who agrees with his producer (Law Kar-ying) to compromise his artistic integrity by making porn in order to survive financially and accepts money from a big time gangster in order to do so. He also has to contend with his jealous girlfriend, a demon in the sack who he has particularly rough sex with in one unforgettable scene. We love the camaraderie Cheung shows with the cast and crew by also showing his bare butt - there’s even a point where they all get naked! A sea of butts and full frontal? Now that’s a dress code we can get behind! We also have to give a shout out to the tight shots of actor Elvis Tsui’s tush as he films his sex scenes, especially the one against the wall of bottles. His hot bod pounding away without knocking down a single bottle is quite impressive. Bravo, sir!
