Young Adult (2011)

We don't all peak in high school, just the popular kids. That's the premise behind Jason Reitman's film Young Adult (2012), starring Charlize Theron as the recently divorced author of a past-its-prime series of teen novels. Sick of her life and looking for an ego boost, Mavis (Theron) returns to her Minnesota hometown hoping to re-kindle her romance with her high school sweetheart (Patrick Wilson). But there's one problem--he and his wife just had their first child, and their happiness is not the front Mavis believes it to be. This sends Mavis into a drunken downward spiral and into the arms of her drinking buddy, played by Patton Oswalt. Not only is Patton hilarious and likeable, but he’s also sexy. When he loses his shirt, you’ll lose yourself!
