Pedro Zamora Sexy

Cuban cutie Pedro Zamora walked so that so many others could run since he was television's very first openly gay man with AIDS at a time when the AIDS crisis was gripping the nation. The Havana native was the youngest of eight children - and he was born on a leap day at that - who grew up poor on the outskirts of the capital city. His family came to America during the Mariel Boat Lift in 1980, with some of his older siblings staying behind. He then spent his new life in America as a teenager in Miami who was discovering his sexuality. He came out when he was only fourteen and thankfully his dad was accepting. He was only seventeen years old when he tested positive for HIV. This inspired him to become an AIDS educator and he even applied to be on The Real World in 1993 to try to educate the masses with his story. He was chosen to be part of the iconic cast of Real World: San Francisco in which he captured America's hearts. Pedro Zamora became a national celebrity during his time on The Real World, showing people that AIDS was not something to be scared of but something to educate ourselves about and that gay men were fine as hell. We even got to see he and his partner Sean Sasser have a commitment ceremony on TV. Sadly, he got really sick during the filming of the show and he wanted to move out due to a cast member's constant antagonism, but the cast voted to kick that other person out instead of Zamora in one of the most famous reality TV moments ever on the show. Pedro passed away in 1994, only hours after the final episode of the season aired, but he will be remembered forever.
