Ted Lasso is known for being a heart-warming comedy, so it is breaking news when there is nudity on the schmaltzy soccer (sorry - football) show from AppleTV. Now couple that with gay stuff and you have my full attention! The most recent episode of Ted Lasso was practically begging Mr. Man to watch with gay content and an ass shot from actor Billy Harris. Well, let's take a look!
I do want to already commend Ted Lasso for giving us nudity. We saw Oliver Savile go nude on the show last season and we all lusted over the abs of actors Toheeb Jimoh and Phil Dunster. Plus Brett Goldstein's hairy chest has us all shouting for more Roy Kent. Basically, the show features a lot of attractive dudes which is not a surprise considering that football players tend to be super sexy. They have the bodies of Adonises!
So let's talk about the latest episode and its hot gay reveal featuring actor Billy Harris. Who is Billy? Billy Harris plays Colin Hughes who has been a relatively minor character up until this past week. As an actor, Billy is an English gent who lives and works in London and studied acting at Bristol's Old Vic Theater School. He is a serious theater actor and he has us getting serious about his dreamy green eyes. And his ass.
This past week Billy sat up in bed naked. He sleeps in the buff and we do love to see that! He wakes up in the bright morning sun and turns to his side to stand up. That is when we see his ass! We see his crack at first and then he grabs his boxer briefs and pulls them up to cover his tight tush. What a shame to cover an ass that fat! You can see the snippet of his buns here:
He gets up, puts on his clothes, and then kisses his boyfriend played by the sexy Sam Liu in the kitchen. Ah! Reveal! This is the first time the show shows us that Billy's character is gay and they do the reveal in such a casual way. But does his team know? Drama!
And that's not all for Billy this past week. He also made out with a hot lad. The twist is that when he is kissing this lad in the alley, he has no idea that a ruthless reporter is watching. Oh no! What will that mean for Billy's football career? What will it mean for his love life? That's Ted Lasso for you (the show, not the character played by Jason Sudeikis): bringing laughs, drama, and ass. Or, in this particular scene, implied ass for later because these two are just making out for now.
So, no, the nudity and the gayness did not go together in one scene in this episode, but Ted Lasso is giving us both in a single 'sode. I am living for that! Let's hope for more gayness goals from the show's final season.
