The Roku Channel original series Weird: The Al Yankovic Story released a teaser pic, an official poster, and an official release date, and we are loving the creative direction that this truly unique movie is taking! Weird: The Al Yankovic Story will be released on the streaming platform on November 4th, 2022. Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe continues two traditions here: 1) His tradition of taking on unique offbeat roles ever since wrapping up his billion-dollar franchise and 2) Taking off his clothes to reveal his tight hairy body!
In the Weird: The Al Yankovic Story teaser picture Daniel Radcliffe appears shirtless in a closet full of Al's iconic shirts with records laced around his neck. The hair. The 'stach. The fashion. It's all working for is, we're not going to lie!
Radcliffe's previous shirtlessness includes some awesome scenes in the Allen Ginsberg biopic Kill Your Darlings. But we mentioned offbeat, and there ain't nothing more offbeat than Radcliffe's role in Swiss Army Man, where he plays a farting corpse. Yup. A farting corpse. Plus check out his drag performance in Miracle Workers and his prosthetic penis during a pissing scene in Guns Akimbo.
Weird: The Al Yankovic Story might not have the gay sex of Kill Your Darlings or the farting corpse of Swiss Army Man or the prosthetic penis of Guns Akimbo, but we're still excited to see where this one goes. Never change, Daniel Radcliffe. Except out of your clothes.
