The wait is over. Baz Luhrmann has finally chosen a hot young man to play Elvis. We wondered who it would be: Miles Teller? Ansel Elgort? Harry Styles? None of them! It turns out the answer is an up-and-coming hottie with flowing blond locks and pouty lips named Austin Butler.
We are so excited about this. Look at this hunk with his chiseled abs that he showed off in several episodes of The Shannara Chronicles and The Carrie Diaries. Yeah, a body like that gives us something to write in our body about.
This hunk-of-burning-love is a straight up hunk and we can't wait to watch him do Elvis' famous pelvic thrusts. We're already drooling like a Hound Dog over the idea of his gyrating hips.
The biopic will also star Tom Hanks as Elvis' manager Colonel Tom Parker. The movie will start shooting next year in Australia and follow Elvis' rise to fame. We can't wait for our pants to rise to Austin Butler!
