Young and definitely sexy, but not exactly white, Jaboukie Young-White has been bringing his own unique brand of Jaboukie theater to the stage and screen since he started doing standup as a teenager. The son of Jamaican immigrants, after killing it on stage in his hometown Chicago comedy scene as well as all over New York City, eventually Jaboukie found viral fame, performed on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, and was soon one of Rolling Stone’s “25 Under 25." Makes sense, there are few twenty-somethings we'd rather find ourselves under. A Daily Show correspondent since 2018, Jaboukie shows some skin in the raunchy comedy Rough Night (2017). More or less a gender-swapped version of Very Bad Things (1998), the film tells the story of a group of female friends coming together for a crazy bachelorette weekend in Miami. Their friend Jess (Scarlett Johansson) is about to get married, but when a drug and booze fueled party leaves them with a dead male stripper (Ryan Cooper) in their house, nothing will ever be the same again! While we wish it was about a night of rough sex with Jaboukie instead, at least Jaboukie shows off his bodacious bulge in a Borat-inspired thong as the film opens. That joke might not have aged well, but decades from now that boner inducing bulge will still be, ahem, very nice! Just when we were feeling real kooky for Jaboukie, he moved on to play Corey on aka Wyatt Cenac, and had us all extra thirsty as Daniel on Awkwafina is Nora From Queens. His first starring role on the big screen came as Milo Marks in the friends with benefits rom-com Dating & New York (2021), though these days he may be best known as Sam in Only Murders in the Building.
