Biography

A revered fixture of the National Theatre in London, this veteran actor from Wales is just as comfortable performing Shakespeare on stage as he is doing modern comedy on screen. Karl has racked up over one hundred film and television credits since his debut in the children’s puppet series Rainbow back in 1973 (where he even sang a song on the show called “Riding Fast, Riding Slow” - giggety!), appearing in shows like Rome (2005), movies like The Death Of Stalin (2017), and big-name theatrical productions such as the Benedict Cumberbatch-led Hamlet in 2015. Karl’s probably best known for playing the unintelligible PC Bob Walker in 2007’s Hot Fuzz, where he memorably has a Welsh-off with a mumbly David Bradley. But the real question is has Karl ever gone unclothed during his impressive career? The answer is yes, as Mr. Man uncovered that the shadowy naked ass that jumps off the ship in the 1987 action film A Prayer for the Dying actually belongs to a young Karl! We’re not sure what made him stop going nude, because he was pretty hot back then, but we’re glad he shared his seat with audiences at least once!
