Lil Nas X is truly leading the revolution right now. After he released the music video for "Montero (Call Me By Your Name)" which had us gagging over his pole dancing skills and all of the hot gay imagery. Of course, critics clutched their pearls and were upset that he was going to hell and getting banged by the devil, but we aren't here for them. We are here to watch Lil Nas X do his thing and that's the reason why this openly gay artist got invited to perform on Saturday Night Live this past Saturday for the season's final episode.
The performance had my jaw DROPPED. Seriously! I was watching history. Lil Nas X was shirtless and wearing tight leather pants while he was flanked by sexy male dancers. That alone felt unique to me. I can't remember seeing a male singer backed by barely-dressed male dancers doing hot moves. That alone felt novel to me! Then he starts doing explicitly sexy moves with these guys and even sits on a throne of men. Has SNL EVER shown us something so gay? It was wonderful!
But then Lil Nas X worked his way to the back of the stage to attempt to pole dance aaaaaaand his pants split. He appeared to catch it immediately as his eyes got wide with embarrassment and he began cupping his crotch for the remainder of the performance. That means that his balls were out! From what I can tell, he caught the wardrobe malfunction before we were able to see anything. Dammit! Lil Nas X has a great sense of humor, so he posted a TikTok of him reacting to his own iconic pants rip.
