He started his professional career in the early 90's by competing in local fitness competitions before catching the acting bug. He caught his first big break landing a role in the action flick Bounty Killers (2013) and most recently made an appearance in Fox's hit action/comedy series Lethal Weapon where we get to see Melvin's incredibly muscular body as he washes off in a prison shower.
