Of course, our version has a decidedly nude angle, as we suss out which films from a certain genre with great nudity. This week: films from Japan!
For the last week in Asian American and Pacific Islander Month, I wanted to take a moment to shout out Japanese movies. Everyone knows that the Japanese know how to do movies - especially horror. They do occasionally do great nudity to and these films prove that. These are movies that are very worth your while which all include nudity:
Drive My Car
This film is simply beautiful. Yes, it is long and the nudity is dim, but it is very worth watching. I just have to recommend it because I was so in love with it. It was even nominated for Best Picture at the Oscars this year and it won Best Foreign Language Film and it really deserved it. Master filmmaker Ruysuke Hamaguchi directed this film about communication and love. What do we tell people we love? What do we mean? Can love override verbal communication?
One thing is for certain: handsome star Hidetoshi Nishijima shows his ass when he bangs his wife and I can really understand this. No need for Japanese for me to understand his ass.
Ichi the Killer
The Japanese know how to do horror and Ichi the Killer is one of those classics that people still love to this day. Ichi is a psycho killer who loves pain, but when a sadomasochistic yakuza meets Ichi the two have met their match. They play a painful game where they torment one another - and they both like it. It's one sick and twisted film! If you like BDSM, hooks, and needles, then this movie may be for you.
Susumu Terajima adds to our pleasure when he runs naked in the streets. It's fast and a little blurry, so keep your eyes open for his backsack as he runs away.
Shoujyo
Eiji Okuda directed this 2002 film about a renegade cop who is sort of bored with his job. He also stars in it as the renegade cop! His bored character spends a lot of time seducing housewives. One night a young woman comes up to him and solicits sex, but he turns her down. He later finds out that this woman is his old flame's daughter. He takes her under his wing and is now caring for two teen girls, protecting them both from a horrible stepfather.
He's a hero! And he is especially a hero when he bares booty and balls as he steps out of a bath. He actually has three nude scenes, all of which show his ass at the very least. His ass and his colorful back tattoo have us wanting to watch Eiji again and again.
In the Realm of the Senses
Is any Japanese film more nudity-forward that this 70s classic? I really don't think so! This NC-17 film from 1976 is based on a crazy true story set in 1936 where a man starts having an affair with his servant. Their affair leads to the two testing boundaries and limits when it comes to sexuality. Their desires become an obsession, causing the pair to lose themselves in a world of sexual deviancy.
Tatsuya Fuji is the leading man who has thirteen nude scenes which include erect cocks and very realistic-looking sex. This film remains very controversial which is clear to see from all of these nude scenes and very close-up shots of Tatsuya's thick dick. His erect penis makes this film a nudity classic!
Taiji Tonoyama joins in on the nudity when he lays back pantsless and shows his cock and big ballsack along with his salt-n-pepper pubes.
