Back in the day, the word “boss” was synonymous with “cool” —- which also applies to the late Stephen Boss. Nicknamed “tWitch” because he was a fidgety kid, the amazing Alabamian parlayed his nervous jitters into smooth dance moves. As a result, Steve competed on Star Search in 2003 and So You Think You Can Dance in 2008. Ever evolving, the freestyle hip hop dancer became a choreographer, actor, producer and television personality. In addition to serving as a DJ on The Ellen DeGeneres Show (2014-2022), Boss was an announcer on Ellen’s Game of Games (2017-2021). He also could be seen hosting Clash of the Cover Bands (2021), The Real Dirty Dancing (2022), and Disney’s Fairy Tale Weddings (2017-2020) with his dancer wife Allison Holker. If that’s not impressive enough, Stephen danced his way onto the big screen via the musical movies Hairspray (2007), Stomp the Yard: Homecoming (2010), Step Up 3D (2010), Step Up Revolution (2012), and Step Up: All In (2014). Yet Mr. Man prefers Mr. Boss’s revealing turn in Magic Mike XXL (2015). As a sequel to the male stripper classic Magic Mike (2012), the dramedy features Channing Tatum, Matt Bomer, and Steve’s perfect pecs! Better yet, the topless hottie sizzles in a Speedo. While the be-thonged babe puts the motion into this motion picture, fans can drink in his six pack! Stephen’s swan song came in the form of The Hip Hop Nutcracker (2022). But the shirtless hunk committed suicide after its release. Apparently, RIP stands for ripped!
