Born in Minneapolis, Minnesota, award-winning actor T.R. Knight began his career at the Guthrie Theater at the age of five. He continued to act throughout his school years and went to college at the University Minnesota, but he left shortly after to pursue acting full time. He moved to New York and landed spots in Broadway and Off-Broadway productions like Noises Off, Tartuffe, Scattergood, and Boy. Meanwhile, he started working on the screen, landing parts in shows like Charlie Lawrence, Frasier, Law & Order: Criminal Intent, and CSI: Crime Scene Investigation and the movie Garmento (2002). His big break came when he scored the lead role of Dr. George O'Malley on Grey’s Anatomy. After more than 100 episodes, T.R. left the show amid scandal regarding an alleged gay slur used by another castmember. Since then, he's split his time between stage and screen, appearing in the movies 42 (2013) and A Year and Change (2015), the series Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, The Good Wife, Hysteria, 11.22.63, Broken, When We Rise, The Catch, Genius, The Bravest Knight, God Friended Me, Will & Grace, The Comey Rule, and The Flight Attendant, and plays like A Life in the Theatre and The Seagull. As for on-screen exhibitionism, we see a shirtless T.R. in Hello Again (2017) when he walks through a room and puts his arms around another hot guy for a passionate kiss! In 2020, Theodore Raymond returned to Grey’s Anatomy after an 11-year absence, so hopefully he'll return to skinema sooner than that!
