David Marshall Grant is an openly gay actor who is interestinglya distant cousin of Ulysses S. Grant. He graduated from the Yale School of Drama and frequently acts in theater, including his role as Joe Pitt in Tony Kushner's Angels in America: Perestroika. Before that Tony-nominatedperformance, he showedup shirtless in the 1979film French Postcards.
