American Flyers (1985)

American Flyers (1985) tells the story of Marcus (Kevin Costner) inviting his unstable brother David (David Grant) to train with him for a bicycle race across the Rocky Mountains. The two brothers bond while Marcus keeps a secret hidden from David.

This is one of the movies that elevated Kevin Costner from good actor to movie star. He is in top shape for this role and will get your gears grinding when you see him flash his taut, well-trained ass after his brother pulls his bike shorts down. In addition to the quick moon, there is plenty of Kevin in skin tight shorts and shirts that show off his body and have him looking better than a Field of Dreams. His costar doesn’t leave Kevin to do all the heavy lifting in the nudity department. We get to see David’s ample booty as he changes out of his riding clothes and heads for the showers. If you pause at just the right second you see a bit of his bulge, but it is not clear if we are seeing frank or beans here.

1985 saw Kevin kicking ass on a bike in American Flyers and shooting up the old west in Silverado. These two movies set him on a ten year path that would make him one of the biggest stars in the world. And to think it all starts with a half moon and a tight pair of bike shorts.
