Based on the novel by John Irving, the comedic drama The Hotel New Hampshire (1984) features Rob Lowe, Jodie Foster, Nastassja Kinski, and Joely Richardson in the story of an eccentric New England family that establishes new hotels in locale after locale. Rob Lowe stays very Lowe key and unfortunately doesn’t let us see down Lowe. There’s a scene when he exits the shower and heads for the bed that might show a little bit of that Lowe hole, but it’s very brief.
