Paul McCrane (not to be confused with Paul McCartney) is McSexy (actually, so is Sir Paul). We first saw McCrane portraying a wheelchair-bound teen in the Sylvester Stallone sequel Rocky II (1979). For his performance in Fame (1980), Paul was nominated for a Young Artist Award for Best Leading Young Actor. But he really won us over when he doffed his duds in The Hotel New Hampshire (1984). Based on the John Irving novel of the same name, the film features Rob Lowe, Jodie Foster, Matthew Modine, Nastassja Kinski, and Paul’s patootie. Now that’s a hotel we’d love to spend the night in! The bald babe went on to appear alongside Ken Wahl in Purple Hearts (1984); Peter Weller in RoboCop (1987); Tim Robbins and Morgan Freeman in The Shawshank Redemption (1994); Burt Reynolds in The Last Producer (2000); and D. B. Sweeney in Atlas Shrugged: Part II (2012). Through the years, Paul continued to spread his assets across film (The Blob, Take the 10) and television (Harry’s Law, North and South, Book III, 24). The boob tuber played Detective Patrick Clark on Under Suspicion (1994-1995); Dr. Herb Barton on Champs (1996); and Dr. Robert “Rocket” Romano on ER (1997-2003, 2008). The latter turn paid off with a Screen Actors Guild Award despite the fact that this sexy physician didn’t make any house calls for Mr. Man! Fortunately for fans, the skintastic actor did expose his moon in the miniseries From the Earth to the Moon (1998). Talk about a black hole!
