Jon Bernthal is a man of many talents and interests. Born and raised in Washington D.C. he bucked the traditional trend of moving to New York to instead move to Russia to study acting at The Moscow Art Theatre School. While there he was spotted by a director from Harvard who invited him to the school to get his Master’s Degree. Jon played professional baseball in Europe while also appearing in more than 30 different stage productions. After making the move to Hollywood, Jon got small roles in various TV series like Eastwick (2009-2010) and The Class (2006-200). He starred in Bar Starz (2008) which featured him showering and showing off his ass! He did all this before skyrocketing into the public conscious when he landed the part of Shane in the smash hit series The Walking Dead (2010 - ).
