Oliver Reed Nude

With his serious looks and wild demeanor, the London-born tough guy Oliver Reed was made for the big screen. He was a character on and off the stage. It’s been noted that Oliver had such a penchant for alcohol that he could drink anyone under the table. He was good friends with The Who’s Keith Moon, so one can only imagine their bar tabs and barf buckets. The intense actor built an impressive resume throughout his career, but he’s most known for his nude wrestling scene with Alan Bates in Women in Love (1969), the first mainstream film to feature full frontal male nudity. Oliver also made a name for himself with his intense and life threatening sword fighting scenes in The Three Musketeers (1973) and The Four Musketeers: Milady’s Revenge (1974). The raucous and bawdy thespian starred in I’ll Never Forget What’s’isname (1967), the first film to use the word “fuck.” Oliver also starred in Sitting Target (1972), the first film to earn the rating ‘X’ due to the violent content. When he wasn’t causing chaos on talk show sets, Oliver turned down just as many roles as he accepted. Towards the end of his career, Oliver played Vulcan in The Adventures of Baron Munchausen (1988); he revisited his role as Athos in The Return of the Musketeers (1989); and he got completely nude again in Castaway (1986). Unfortunately, Oliver died of a heart attack after an intense night of alcohol consumption. The memorable actor had the heart and the body to excite anyone. We raise a pint to you, Mr. Reed.
