Korean director Bong Joon-ho's long awaited follow up to his Oscar winning film Parasite (2019) is a total departure from that flick, Mickey 17 (2025). This sci-fi social satire flick set in the near future centers on our title character, Mickey Barnes (Robert Pattinson), who is trying to escape Earth and his debtors along with his pal Timo (Steven Yeun). In order to guarantee a spot on a ship, Mickey agrees to be an expendable, meaning that the scientists on the ship will use him to test the safety of various planets and procedures, and just printing out another copy of him the next day. When one of the clones is left for dead but fails to die, he returns back to base where he's already been replaced, leading the two Mickeys to becoming the face of a burgeoning resistance by the lower classes against the powerful. There is so, so, so much more in this flick we haven't even touched on, but you've got the basics, and during the cloning procedure is where we get the only nudity in the flick as Robert Pattinson's bare ass bounces into frame as his body falls out of a 3D printer! Sadly, it turned out to be the work of a body double and some digital trickery, but nevertheless Mickey, you're so fine!
