Once Upon a Time in America (1984)

The historic epic Once Upon a Time in America (1984) concludes Sergio Leone’s Once Upon a Time trilogy, following his Spaghetti Westerns Once Upon a Time in the West  (1968) and Once Upon a Time ... the Revolution (1971). In this R rated drama, we meet Jewish mobster David “Noodles” Aaronson (Robert DeNiro) and his gangster pals Maximilian “Max” Bercovicz (James Woods), Patrick “Patsy” Goldberg (James Hayden), “Fat” Moe Gelly (Larry Rapp), and Philip “Cockeye” Stein (William Forsythe) as well as their gals Deborah (Elizabeth McGovern) and Peggy (Amy Ryder). The dudes work as bootleggers in New York during the Prohibition Era of the 1930s. Through the years, they continue to build their criminal empire up until the late ’60s. Along the way, they encounter Jimmy Conway O’Donnell (Treat Williams), Francis “Frankie” Monaldi (Joe Pesci), Joe Monaldi (Burt Young), and Police Chief Vincent Aiello (Danny Aiello). The movie also includes Brian Bloom, Jennifer Connelly, Tuesday Weld, Louise Fletcher, Richard Bright, and the skin on Richard Foronjy! During their teen years, young Noodles (Scott Tiler) and young Max (Rusty Jacobs) catch a local policeman (Foronjy) having sex with a woman. Of course, they snap a photo so they can blackmail him later. As such, we get to see Richard’s bare buns. How cheeky! Even though this four-hour flick was a box office flop, we think it’s worth a watch just to see Mr. Foronjy flash his ass. In other words, if being sexy is a crime, consider this skintastic actor guilty as charged!
