Ponyboi stars intersex actorvist River Gallo as an intersex sex worker dating their pimp Vinnie, played by O'Brien. River's character Ponyboi is also besties with Angel (Victoria Pedretti) - the pregnant mother of Dylan's soon-to-be child. The events of Ponyboi unfold on Valentine's Day after a drug deal goes awry. Ponyboi is based on River's 2019 short movie of the same name, which was the first-ever film to feature an intersex actor portraying an intersex character. O'Brien makes his mark by hilariously rapping to River in the buff!
