Anora (2024)

Who is the guy who gets naked in Anora? You're about to find out! Anora is indie superstar director Sean Baker's 2024 romance about a sex worker who falls in love with the son of a Russian oligarch. In 2021 Baker delivered some peeks at Simon Rex's butt in Red Rocket, so we know he isn't opposed to male nudity. Our kind of director! Mikey Madison plays the titular Anora and she's a stripper and sex worker living in Brooklyn. Ivan (Mark Eidelstein) pays her $15K to stay with him for a week. The two fall in love, which prompts Ivan's Russian parents to fly in to try and break up the romance. It's a classic romantic comedy setup with that Sean Baker twist that we've come to know and love.
