I Want Your Love (2010)

It’s common for emerging directors to make a short film in order to land the funding for a feature. Young Sam Raimi wrote, directed, and produced Within the Woods (1978) for only $1,600, while his full-length remake The Evil Dead (1981) had a budget of $375,000. Once Wes Anderson’s 13-minute flick Bottle Rocket (1994) picked up praise at the Sundance Film Festival, he picked up $5 million to make the 91-minute movie Bottle Rocket (1996). After Damien Chazelle’s 18-minute Whiplash (2013) debuted at Sundance, he too secured the backing for his extended Whiplash (2014). And where would Napoleon Dynamite (2004) be if the story and star Jon Heder didn’t first appear in a short film called Peluca (2003)? This brings Mr. Man to Travis Mathews’s 14-minute adult movie I Want Your Love (2010). The film stars Jesse Metzger and Brenden Gregory as two gay men playfully interacting while trying to muster enough nerve to have sex with each other for the first time. Since this is a brief format, the two hunks don’t waste a lot of time. One starts blowing the other which leads to an erotic wrestling match on a mattress which leads to ass-eating, finger exploring, and finally some anal penetration. The two dudes enjoy each other until they both drop their loads. Talk about a happy ending!
