The Fortune (2021)

The Fortune (2021) or La Fortuna is a Spanish series that follows a young diplomat who is just getting his career started, but he runs into a lot of foibles because he is so inexperienced. His name is Alex Ventura and he suddenly becomes the leader of a mission that tests everything that he knows and believes. He ultimately has to recover a legendary underwater treasure chest that was stolen by an adventurer named Frank Wild. How Wild! Frank Wild is played by Stanley Tucci who joins a multi-cultural cast. Even though this is a Spanish production, there were people from all over the world who make up this cast. Clarke Peters plays Jonas Pierce, T'Nia Miller plays Susan McLean, Ana Polvorosa plays Lucia Vallarta, and there are many more. Spaniards, English actors, and Americans all join the cast to set sail on the seven seas and work together to recover - or enjoy - a buried treasure that has since been stolen. Alvaro Mel plays Alex Ventura who hangs out in bed in one scene in which he answers the phone when he was in a sleepy, sexy stupor. He sits up in bed without a shirt on and shows off his lean body as he answers the phone. Sadly, we never see anything below the belt here. We wish that we did! Maybe next time Alvaro Mel will uncover the buried treasure in his pants and let us lay eyes upon his legendary fortuna. That would be quite fortunate!
