Matt Bomer is currently taking the small screen by storm yet again as Negative Man on Doom Patrol. The most recent episode, titled Puppet Patrol, of the comic book-inspired series featured a steamy and intimate gay smooch between Bomer and Kyle Clements, and we have questions! The first one being - how do we audition?

NewNowNext details the truly insane history of Bomer's character Negative Man. Gay representation in the comic book world is always welcomed and wanted, but interesting, Negative Man wasn't always positively gay. In fact we're not even positive we understand the following explanation of the character's sexual history. Negative Man, whose real name is Trailor, wasn't gay in the comics originally. After years of inactivity, the energy being that resides in Trainor suddenly revealed itself to be sentient and merged with both Trainor and a woman named Dr. Eleanor Poole. Together, the three combined to become one intersex entity called Rebis who would later go on to mate with itself.

So Rebis was Trainor, and Rebis mated with Trainor, so therefor Trainor had sex with Trainor. Gay. Or is it? Whatever the case, Trainor's history gave the writers behind Doom Patrol (now streaming on DCUniverse.com) enough creative material to make him gay, which led to this hot makeout. Win win!
