We are simply obsessed with the sexy men of The Gilded Age! The series became a runaway hit for HBO and HBO Max. It garnered modest interest when it debuted in January 2022, but its audience grew by over 50% by the final episode - strong enough numbers to make The Gilded Age the most-watched series on HBO Max at the time! It was also the number one most referenced drama series on social media.
So, why would interest in a series grow so significantly over the course of a brisk nine-episode run? Could it be because The Gilded Age features some of the sexiest men ever seen on the small screen? We certainly think so! How could you not get hooked on these hotties? The Gilden Age comes from showrunner Julian Fellowes - the same man behind the series Downton Abbey. As with Downton Abbey, The Gilded Age brings to life high society of a bygone era. In The Gilded Age late 19th century New York socialites vie for social domination through alliances and backstabbing. (To put it in perspective for those of you who have not seen the series - the interactions of the rich women in The Gilded Age closely mirror those of their 21st-century counterparts - The Real Housewives!)
But enough about the plot, it's time to get to the THOT. As we promised, the men here are simply stunning. While there's only a little bit of shirtless action (thankfully delivered by the show's two gay characters - more on that later) the stars of The Gilden Age have appeared shirtless in other acting roles. Morgan by far has the best nudity to date of any of his The Gilded Age costars. Well actually, he has the only nudity. Morgan went full frontal in 2016's Split, and his balls were so breathtaking that they snatched the Best Balls award at the 4th Annual Manatomy Awards!
Harry Richardson As Larry Russell
Harry sadly has no nudity to his name but he did go shirtless in five different scenes in the series Poldark!
Thomas Cocquerel As Tom Raikes
It makes sense that Thomas plays the philandering Tom Raikes. What woman could keep her hands off of him! This real-life Australian actor has ruggedly handsome good looks and can be seen wearing just a towel in The Divorce Party.
