Most know the big, black and beautiful Wendell Pierce for his memorable roles on the HBO drama The Wire and Treme. Outside of the world of pay television, the New Orleans-born actor made his manly presence known in the films A Rage in Harlem (1991), Waiting to Exhale (1995), Shadows of the Past (1999), and I Think I Love My Wife (2007). On the primetime boob tube, Wendell appeared in the popular shows Law & Order, Numb3rs, and The Michael J. Fox Show. Wendell is one heck of a talent that takes each role seriously, but he’s seriously starting to frustrate Mr. Man by staying clothed in all his roles. But the gay-friendly drama Four (2012) sure gave us quite the tease from Wendell. No, the hunky actor didn’t show skin, but he did channel his inner homosexuality by playing gay, forever feeding our naughty thoughts. During an awkward scene of man-on-man lovemaking, Wendell grunts and humps his way all the way to our hearts, leaving us screaming in frustration, “Who doesn’t take their shirt off during sex!?” While we ponder that question for the foreseeable future, you may want to work on catching up on Wendell's recent forays on the boob tube, including recurring roles on shows like Tom Clancy's Jack Ryan, Chicago P.D., The Watch, Eureka!, and Accused. With any luck, Wendell will provide all of us with a windfall of nude roles in the very near future. On that blessed day, our hearts will be pierce(d) with lust!
