Dark City (1998)

When a man wakes up alone in a hotel room with no memory, he discovers that he's wanted for series of bizarre murders and must submerge himself into a strange underworld in order to find out who he is and what is happening. One of the trippiest mindbenders of all time, Alex Proya's Dark City (1998) starts Rufus Sewell as John Murdoch, a man who wakes up in a hotel room next to a dead woman's body. Unsure who she is or how he ended up in that situation, John gets a call from Dr. Daniel Schreber (Kiefer Sutherland) telling him to flee the scene before a bunch of dudes in trench coats called "The Strangers" try to get him. Murdoch realizes a lot of odd things about the city while living as a fugitive: it's always nighttime, both he and The Strangers can change things with their minds, and it's physically impossible for him to leave. As Murdoch tries to find his wife Emma (Jennifer Connelly), he'll come to realize he's dealing with aliens, imprinted memories, and all sorts of other weirdness. Often compared to The Matrix (1999) and Memento (2000), Roger Ebert's "Best Film of 1998" deserves a big thumbs up for including a look at Mr. Sewell's sweet ass! Yes, the delicious British actor Rufus Sewell plays the lead character in this dark, atmospheric sci-fi story and he makes one hell of a first impression. The first scene of him in the movie shows him crawling out of the bathtub naked and stumbling over to the sink. His lovely lumps are on full display as we get a great backage shot of him nude and soaking wet. He has a few other scenes that find him without a shirt, but it is the butt shot right out the gate that will leave your head spinning and your entire body tingling with desire. While the story might leave you a little confused, Dark City’s (1998) first impression with Mr. Sewell’s amazing bare arse is one that will linger with you in all the right ways.
