Biography

While he might be a successful business man now, back in the 80's nobody dripped California cool quite like Ken Olandt. Originally from just outside of San Francisco in Richmond, California, Ken got his start on an episode of Matt Houston in 1983, but had a recurring roles as Kirk Dooley on the private eye sitcom Riptide just a year later. With a toned and tanned body that belongs on the beach at high or low tide, Ken played Rob in the cult classic slasher flick April Fool's Day (1986), which let us first see his gorgeous body. Whether it was stripping down to his whitey tighties and strolling around the bedroom or getting ready to bang a blonde in a boathouse, seeing Ken and all the pranking had us pulling our pants down and monkey spanking! Since the Riptide star was so ripped there was no better choice to play the student by day, male stripper by night character Larry Kazamias in the Mark Harmon led comedy Summer School (1987). At one point in the movie, we get to see Larry's performance, and it's a masterclass in showing ass! Wearing nothing but a tiny pink thong, Ken is gyrating for a large group of excited ladies. Ken is shredded, with a chiseled bod that glistens in the light of the club. Ken was the exoskeleton wearing, former astronaut turned motorcycle riding crimefighter Zachary Jones in both the movie Super Force (1990) and the TV show of the same name, before playing Nathan in the legendary horror movie Leprechaun (1993). Ken's acting career really slowed down in the late 90's and 2000's, though he did pop up in stuff like Pacific Blue, General Hospital, and House. But Ken's departure from acting isn't a sad story. Instead of focussing on his acting career, he cofounded Unified Film Organization, LLC, a production company responsible for all sorts of big TV shows and movies. Good for you, Ken. Still, we kind of missed when we could shut the blinds, fire up one of his movies, and let Ken Olandt take us to the land of the big O!
