Review

April Fool's Day (1986) was a classic 1980s slasher flick from director Fred Walton and writer Danilo Bach. This cult classic follows eight college friends who are asked to celebrate the end of their school year on a mansion on an island that belongs to an heiress. They find that each one of the friends has a secret to hide from the others and when that secret is suddenly revealed, they die. But do people really die or do they just appear to die? It just so happens that all of this is happening on April Fool's Day. Does that mean the murders are actually "hilarious" April Fool's joke? The people who survive will find out and only the heiress, their host Muffy St. John, knows the truth. In fact, she might even be doing the killing! The students who survive will find out, but we also get a treat for surviving the movie. The super tasty 1980s stud muffin Ken Olandt stars as the sensual Rob Ferris and you'll want to ride him like a Ferris wheel after you see him shirtless and wearing his tighty-whiteys. He sports a hunky bulge between his underwear and between his blue Speedo that he wears when he makes out with his girlfriend before they find a dead body. He pulls up his pants after they see that horror which teases us with the possibility of seeing his pubes or ass. Alas, we don't. It's the cruelest April Fool's Day of all.
